Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Society (LMNHS) is an integral part of the Little Mountain/Riley Park for the past 40 years, providing free or low cost social support programs for seniors, adults, families, children, and youth. LMNHS provides social, educational, cultural and recreational programs and initiatives that strengthen neighbourhood life for a diverse group of community members. We offer more than 50 programs including immigrant settlement and family resource programs for newcomers, activities for multi-barriered youth at LMNH and two local high schools, childcare for 90 children, a seniors-driven hub of activities, and community events. Activities operate from our central facility at 3981 Main St/24 th Ave and 20 off-site locations serving a population of 50,000 residents within its catchment area.

Rooted in “social justice” values, we facilitate social connectedness and target our programs to the whole community.

This 2018, LMNHS celebrates its 40th Anniversary with events like the recent Fundraising Gala Dinner held last May 2,  Mid Main Multifest – May 25,  Hillcrest Festival – June 16, Main St. Car Free Days – June 17 and Douglas Park Festival – June 23.  Everyone is invited to visit our booths at the community events!
